Made It & Liked It

I spend quite a bit of time browsing through and pinning recipes and projects on Pinterest. It’s addicting… Now, it’s time to start making the recipes and projects! I’ve created a new board “Made It & Liked It” and will begin pinning items to that board after I give them a try.

First on the list: Whole Wheat Oatmeal Sandwich Bread

I came across this recipe while reading blogs and decided to give it a try. It was very good!

Changes I would make:

Follow directions and let it rise longer. I guess I felt like I didn’t have to follow directions since it’s summer. I am constantly telling my students to follow directions, maybe I need to listen to my own advice!

Cut it in half and stick half in the freezer or give half of it to someone else. We don’t eat bread quickly in our house and a couple days later it was stale. Live and learn…
